Day 1: Airport pick-up and hotel transfer
On the first day of this amazing Uganda safari, be received and welcomed by our Company representative at the same time your safari driver/guide for the transfer to a Hotel in Kampala. Explore Uganda with our 8 days Uganda Safari where you will visit top and most popular Safari destinations in the country such as Queen Elizabeth, Murchison falls, Bwindi Impenetrable and Kibale Forest National Parks.

Day 2: Transfer to Murchision Falls National Park
You will have breakfast and begin the journey to Murchison falls National Park-Uganda’s largest Conservation Area found in north-western part of the country. The drive lasts 6-7 and takes you through different small Towns, roadside food markets and small villages. Reach this park in the afternoon for lunch at the lodge and later head for the hike to the top of the falls. Your driver will return you to the lodge for overnight stay and dinner.

Day 3: Game drive along the northern banks of River Nile and boat ride to the bottom of the falls
Rise early in the morning to have breakfast and undertake a game drive along the northern banks of River Nile. Watch out for the Topis, elephants, Oribis, Rothschild giraffes, Uganda Kobs, lions, buffaloes, leopards, Defassa waterbucks, Jackson’s hartebeests, spotted hyenas and warthogs among others. Have Lunch after 3-4 hours of the game drive and retire to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon the Nile River will await your presence, for the boat cruise to the bottom of the Murchison falls where you will see numerous Hippos and crocodiles. With the wildlife, birds and views of the Nile plunging through a narrow gorge of 7 meters makes the boat cruise the highlight of the visit to Murchison falls National Park. Return back to the banks of the Nile River for a drive back to the Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
Enjoy an early morning breakfast and check-out of the Lodge for a drive to Kibale Forest National Park through the green countryside, rolling hills, Valleys and enjoy views of the Rwenzori Mountains peaks covered with snow as well as the Escarpment wall among others. This is probably the longest ride of this safari and comes with several stops to stretch your legs, have Lunch then be in Kibale Forest National Park in the evening for overnight and dinner.

Day 5: Half day trek for Chimpanzees in Kibale Forest and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park
An early breakfast and head for the refreshing boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, a natural channel that connects Lakes George and Edward and is home to crocodiles, Hippos and riverine, savannah or woodland bird species. The boat cruise along this Channel also brings you close to animals that road along the banks such as Uganda Kobs, buffaloes, bushbucks and elephants. Drive back to the lodge for your luggage and continue south of Queen Elizabeth National Park towards Ishasha sector, and be ushered to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
At the lodge, breakfast is served bright and early, followed by a transfer to Kanyanchu Visitor Center for registration and briefing before commencing your chimpanzee tracking expedition. Kibale Forest is renowned for its high concentration of chimpanzees, making the experience an unforgettable and unique one. As the closest relatives to humans, encountering these great apes allows you to connect with our close cousins on a deeper level. The 1-3 hour trek will also expose you to other primate species, birds, elephants, buffaloes, amphibians, and butterflies. However, the ultimate highlight of the trek is undeniably coming face-to-face with chimpanzees. Afterward, you will proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you’ll enjoy lunch at a lodge and take a game drive, witnessing large herds of animals. Your return to the lodge will feature a delectable dinner, relaxation, and overnight stay.

Day 7: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
This is the best and most memorable day of this safari and as you prepare your for this thrilling trek for mountain gorillas, make sure to wear long sleeved shirt/blouse, safari pants and carry waterproof backpack, good non-flash camera, enough water and snacks. Assemble at the park headquarters for briefing on gorilla treks and by 8am begin the trek through the jungles. The hike through forested slopes, dense vegetation and thickets lasts anything from 1-5 hours and once you reach the mountain gorillas, you are allowed to spend a maximum of one hour with them while sitting, standing or squatting 7 meters away. Be at your Lodge for Lunch after the remarkable time with the mountain gorillas and in the evening undertake a community/village visit.

Day 8: Transfer Back to Kampala/Entebbe
Breakfast at the Lodge and start off with your 8-9 hours’ journey back to Kampala City. Enjoy en-route Lunch in Mbarara Town or Igongo Cultural Center then another stop at Mpambire Drum Makers or Uganda Equator crossing at Kayabwe (72 kilometers to Kampala). Continue to a booked Hotel for dinner and overnight stay or to the Airport to catch-up with your flight.
